Everything you build in Golden can leave it: as an image to paste into a message, as the data behind a chart, or as a deck. Most of it starts from the Share button at the top right of an analysis.

## Copy a chart or dashboard as an image

1. Open the chart or dashboard you want.
2. Click Share, then Copy image. A dialog opens titled Copy image.
3. Under Include, tick what the image should carry, then click Copy to clipboard to paste it straight into a document or chat, or Download PNG to save a file.

The Include options are Title, Axes, Sort indicator and Filter chips, and your choices are remembered. For a dashboard with more than one tile, a Tile order section lets you drag the tiles - or use the up and down arrows beside each one - into a different order; a reordered image stacks the tiles in a single column and leaves out any text, shapes and images on the board. Reset order puts them back.

> **Tip:** You can also right-click a chart in Analyze, or the dashboard canvas, and choose Copy image or Download PNG. On a dashboard the image is always the whole dashboard, not a single card.

## Download a chart's data

In Analyze, Share > Download data offers CSV and Excel. The download is the data behind the chart in view: Golden re-runs the chart's own query, so you get the same grouped and filtered numbers the chart shows, not the raw table underneath it.

- In the single-sheet view, you get the sheet you're looking at.
- In the gallery of all sheets, you get every sheet that has fields on it.
- CSV saves one file per chart, named after it. Excel saves one workbook with a worksheet per chart.

> **Note:** If the sheet has no fields on its shelves yet, Golden says "This sheet has no configured fields to export." instead of downloading an empty file.

## Export slides or data

Share > Export opens the Export dialog. It has two tabs, Slides and Data, and the title changes to match.

## Export slides

The Slides tab turns your sheets and dashboards into a presentation. Choose PowerPoint, PDF or Google Slides.

1. Under Select Content, tick the sheets and dashboards to include. Select All and Deselect All help with long lists.
2. Expand an item to give its slide a custom title or add notes. For PowerPoint and Google Slides these become speaker notes.
3. Set Size to Widescreen (16:9), Standard (4:3), A4 Landscape or A4 Portrait, and Quality to Standard or High.
4. Leave Title slide on to open the deck with a title slide, then click Export.

> **Note:** Google Slides has no A4 page size, so the Size list offers A4 only for PowerPoint and PDF. If an A4 size was already chosen, a Google Slides export falls back to Widescreen (16:9) and the dialog says so.

For Google Slides you choose Export To: New Presentation creates one, and Append to Existing adds slides to a presentation you pick with Browse Google Drive... A title slide isn't added when appending.

> **Warning:** A Google Slides export is capped at 80 slides at a time, and each captured slide image must be under 25 MB. If a very large dashboard at High quality is refused, try Standard quality or export fewer items at once.

## Export data

The Data tab exports chart data as CSV, Excel or Google Sheets. Under Charts to Export, pick the charts you want; the ones on the current sheet or dashboard start selected. The button reads Download CSV, Download Excel or Export to Google Sheets to match your choice. When exporting from a dashboard, Include forecast values appends each chart's forecast periods to its data.

## Connect your Google account

Google Slides and Google Sheets exports need a Google connection. If you aren't connected, the dialog shows "Connect your Google account to export directly to Google Slides" (or Sheets) with a Sign in with Google button. One connection covers both, and it's the same one used to import Google Sheets.

> **Note:** Golden asks Google only for access to files it creates or that you open with it, not your whole Drive. That's why appending to a presentation means choosing it with the Drive picker.
