Bullet Chart

A new chart type for progress against a goal, with a target marker and qualitative bands. Goal grain follows the chart, and Discover suggests it when your data has a measure and a target.

Slope Chart and Interval Plot

Slope charts compare a measure across two points in time, and interval plots show a range per category. Both are new chart types you can pick from the chart menu.

Dot Plot Chart

A new dot plot chart type places one dot per category on a shared axis, a cleaner read than bars when you have many categories or tightly clustered values.

Pareto Preset

A Pareto preset sorts bars from largest to smallest and adds a cumulative-share line. Turning it off returns a plain bar chart with its hover, headroom and labels intact.

Color Lines by Net Change

Any line chart can now color each series by whether it rose or fell over the period, so gainers and decliners stand apart at a glance.

Show Total on Stacked Bars

Stacked bar charts can show a total label above each stack. Turn it on in the format pane or ask chat to add it.

Semantic Views for Everyone

Snowflake semantic views and Databricks metric views are now available to all workspaces. Import them as live datasets and work with their metrics like any other field.

Metrics Tab in Prepare

A semantic view now opens with a Metrics tab in Prepare in place of Table View, listing each metric the view defines.

Use Text as Dates

New MAKEDATE and DATE functions turn text into real dates, text calculated fields can be typed as Date, and date levels now work on joined data.

Configure AI-Built Cards by Hand

Comparison, stat comparison, highlight, progress, icon metric and section cards now have a Fields pane and full Format options, so a card the AI built can be edited or rebuilt by hand.

Field Profile Percent of Total

Field profiles now show each value's percent of total, so the spread of a column is visible without building a chart.

Plain-Language Date Ranges in Field Profiles

A date column's profile now describes its range in words, such as the span of months or years it covers.

Hero and Callout Copy Written from Chart Data

The dashboard Hero and Callout Generate with AI button now uses the values each chart actually drew rather than whole-dataset statistics. A board with no drawn charts still falls back to dataset stats.
