Share any dashboard to a Slack channel in one click. Connect your workspace in Settings, then use the Share to Slack button to post a Block Kit message with a title, optional note, and live dashboard thumbnail.

Dashboard Chat: Add Charts, Text & Shapes

Dashboard chat can now pull an existing chart from your analyses onto the dashboard, and add, edit, or remove text blocks and shapes (rectangle, circle, line, arrow) with fill, border, opacity, and inside text. New elements auto-place into empty space.

Dashboard Chat: Position, Layers & Canvas Control

Chat sees the full canvas layout and can place elements at exact coordinates, position things relative to each other, restack layers front-to-back, resize the canvas, or switch to infinite-scroll mode. Previously, chat-placed elements always landed in the first available slot.

Data Export from Dashboards

The Export dialog now has Slides and Data tabs. From Data, export chart data as CSV (one file per chart), Excel (one sheet per chart), or directly to a new Google Sheet. All export-to-slides options remain in the Slides tab.

BigQuery Now Available for All Customers

BigQuery is no longer gated behind a preview flag and now appears in the connector picker for all accounts alongside Snowflake and Databricks.

Visual Calculations on Dashboard Charts

Running total, % of total, moving average, rank, and difference calculations now work on dashboard charts. Set them from the measure pill's modifier strip — they were previously only available in the Analyze canvas.

Hide Fields from Field Lists

Fields can be hidden from field list panes across Analyze, Dashboards, and Stories. A 'Show hidden fields' toggle controls visibility in the Prep data table, and the AI no longer sees hidden fields in its context.

Prep Chat: Full Calculated Field Management

Prep chat can create, rename, edit formulas, and delete calculated fields end-to-end. It also sets display formats (currency, %, duration), edits descriptions, aggregation, date format, and geographic subtype in a single turn. 'Enhance all descriptions' rewrites every field in one pass.

View SQL now on dashboards

⌘K → 'View SQL' in the dashboard view shows fully-resolved SQL for every data-backed chart on the current sheet, including chart-level, cross-, and filter-bar selections.

Live Query Loading Indicator

When a query runs against a remote warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, etc.), an animated indicator appears — connection logo, animated arrows, and the Golden mark — so it's clear data is being fetched. Appears after 350ms to avoid flashing on fast queries. Works on both the Analyze canvas and dashboards.

Waterfall Baseline Bar

Waterfall charts in delta mode now support an optional baseline bar at position 0. Set the value and label from the Format pane to build revenue bridge or variance charts with an explicit starting total.

Reference Lines: Live Panel + Quick-Add Presets

The reference line modal is replaced by a live floating panel — the chart stays visible while you configure. One-click presets for Average, Maximum, Minimum, and Median. Percentile type added. All changes are immediately undoable.

Date format picker is level-aware

The date format dropdown shows only formats appropriate for the selected granularity. Day formats at monthly or quarterly grain no longer produce misleading output, and options are locale-ordered (DMY first for UK/EU).

Snowflake: encrypted .p8 key support

Snowflake key-pair authentication now accepts encrypted .p8 private key files — enter the passphrase alongside the key in the connection settings.

Multi-measure axis settings in the axis dialog

Per-measure color, left/right Y-axis assignment, and bar/line/area chart-type picker are now accessible from the floating axis settings dialog, not only from the format pane.

Shelf format dialogs for more chart types

Scatter, line/area, gantt, waterfall, and diverging bar now have axis encoding dialogs from their shelf labels — show/hide, range, log scale, rotation, and labels. Gantt and diverging bar get color and tooltip dialogs too.

Data Dictionary UX improvements

The import dialog is redesigned as a drawer with column-level search and field filtering. Importing is now scoped to the selected table, not the entire dataset.

Dimension colors stable when filtering

Category colors no longer shift palette slots when a filter removes or adds dimension values. Each category keeps its original color assignment as the visible set changes.

Dashboard toolbar reorganized

Copy Link and Present buttons move to the top header. The toolbar gains an overflow (···) menu so secondary controls don't crowd the main row.

AI chat can set KPI value color

Ask chat to 'make the revenue number green' and it sets the big-number text color on KPI and metric cards.

Session loading is faster

Analysis sessions open faster via parallel database queries on load and parallelized Parquet downloads for multi-table datasets.

Corner radius controls on dashboard components

All dashboard chart, KPI, and table components now have a corner radius slider in the Format pane. Titles indent automatically to clear rounded corners.

Annotations on dashboards

Chart annotations can now be added to dashboard charts — right-click a data point and choose 'Add Annotation'. Annotations from the Analyze canvas carry over to dashboards, are draggable, and are fully undoable. The right-click popover open sequence is also more reliable.

Range bar fully available via AI + survey chart improvements

Range bar (dumbbell) charts are now available through all AI surfaces — suggest, build, and generate all work. Diverging bar gets Net Agreement / Net Disagreement sort for survey and Likert-scale data. Range bar gets a Neutral Line control for marking a midpoint on a rating scale.

Prep view crashing on stale or missing column

The Prepare view no longer crashes when a Replace Values operation references a column that was renamed or removed.

Data Dictionary import scoped to selected table

Importing a data dictionary now correctly scopes changes to the table you selected, not the entire dataset.

BigQuery connector — OAuth, token refresh & polish

The BigQuery connection flow correctly round-trips the project ID through OAuth, live query tokens now refresh instead of expiring mid-session, and the dialog has been polished.

KPI configure & format tools on AI dashboards

KPI cards placed by the AI now have the full configure and format affordances, matching manually-placed tiles.

Trailing zeros dropped incorrectly in number formatting

Numbers formatted with significant-figure precision (e.g. '1.50') no longer have trailing zeros incorrectly stripped to '1.5'.

KPI blank when Value shelf is empty

KPI charts with nothing on the Value shelf now render a 'Number of Records' count instead of showing blank.

Chat-created date range filters crashing charts

Date range filters from AI Chat now work in Analyze, Dashboard, and Discover. Existing broken filters auto-heal on open, and date range filters work correctly on multi-table joined datasets.

MMM-YY date columns showing all-NULL values

Date columns formatted as 'Jan-25', 'Feb-26', etc. are now correctly parsed and analyzed instead of returning NULL for every row.

Dashboard chat date granularity not reflecting in field pill

When chat changes a date field's granularity on a dashboard chart, the field pill inspector now immediately shows the updated value.
