The artifact viewer

Open a saved analysis at /:accountSlug/view/:sessionId for a read-only view that auto-detects what to show.

The artifact viewer is the read-only page workspace members land on when they open a shared session. It picks the best artifact to display: the first dashboard with components, then the first visualization sheet with content, falling back to the canvas.

Header actions

  • Breadcrumb: Home, Space, Session — click any segment to navigate.
  • Show / Hide filter bar — appears only for dashboard artifacts.
  • Zoom dropdown — Fit Width, Fit to Page, presets, and a slider.
  • Edit — only visible if you are an owner or editor of the session.
  • Invite — opens the Invite Members dialog scoped to this session.

Who can open it

Your effective role combines workspace membership with resource-level access. Workspace owners and admins are always treated as Owners. Workspace viewers can only open artifacts that were explicitly shared with the Space.

Request access

If you open a viewer URL you do not have access to, you see a denial screen. If the workspace is public, a Request access button sends a notification to the workspace owners and editors.

Tip: Private workspaces hide the Request access button because they cannot grant access to non-members.
