Workspace settings
Account-wide settings - General, Members, Groups, Card images, and Billing - are sections of the settings dialog, visible to account admins. Members includes the invite domain allowlist.
Account-wide settings live in the settings dialog, in the group named after your account. They are visible only to account admins - if you are not one, those sections are hidden rather than shown as locked.
Open settings
- Press Cmd , (Ctrl , on Windows and Linux), or click your avatar at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Settings.
- The left rail lists your personal sections first, then the account sections underneath the account name.
- Use Search settings at the top of the rail to jump straight to a section.
The account sections
- General - the account's name and its status, including trial or expiry dates.
- Members - everyone in the account, with search, invitations, and role changes.
- Groups - grant a set of people access to spaces together.
- Card images - the library of cover pictures your team can put on space cards.
- Billing - the account's plan and seats.
Members and invitations
The Members section counts the people in the account and shows how many seats are available. Search by name or email to find someone, and select a person to see the spaces they belong to.
- Click Invite member.
- Enter the person's Email and pick a Role: Contributor or Account Admin.
- Send the invitation. It appears under Pending invitations until it is accepted, and you can cancel it from there.
Restrict invitations to your domains
Under Invite restrictions, you can limit invitations to your organization's email domains. Type a domain such as acme.com and click Add domain; remove one with the x on its tag. With no domains listed, anyone can be invited. With at least one, new invitations must go to an address at one of them. Invitations already sent stay valid when you tighten the list.
Card images
Card images are cover pictures your team can put on space cards. Click Upload image to add one; JPEG, PNG, and WebP files up to 5 MB are accepted. Once uploaded, it's an option for every space in the account, alongside Golden's own collections, which are listed below your uploads.
To remove an upload, click its remove button. The confirmation says how many spaces are using the image; those spaces fall back to the placeholder thumbnail. Removing is permanent - you would need to upload the image again.
Your own sections
The sections grouped under your name are Profile, Preferences, Notifications, Integrations, Password, and Feedback. Those are yours alone - Notifications lists the spaces you asked to hear about, and Feedback lists what you've reported. See "Profile settings", "App settings", and "Team settings" for the rest.
